DISCIPLINE IN DIET AND EXERCISE

As born-again believers and disciples of Christ/Messiah we are the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Because of this, everything we eat or drink is to be done to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

We’re supposed to discipline our bodies (1 Corinthians 9:27) and this takes being intentional with what we eat, how we exercise and how we rest.  The purpose of this is so that we can be strong and live out long lives to serve God and enjoy life.

God’s plan is for us to prosper and be in health. (3 John 1:2) We have a part to play in the stewardship of our body to cooperate with His plans. Here are some Health Scriptures from the Bible.

Declare this now:  Thank You God, for giving me wisdom and help me be disciplined with food, exercise and rest, so I can serve you with strength and long life.
